You know the ones- spending their formative years in GriGri-only toprope gyms, devoid of even harmless tendon-popping pocket holds and spleen-piercing volumes. Tragically, these gym policies and others are only a small part of the prolific culture of aid, penned by soulless lawers and marketing specialists too mediocre for hire even at the AMGA, insideously working its way through the modern climbing community.
But all hope
is not lost!
There remains, at the core of modern climbing, a dwindling but strong community of true climbers- those who keep the original spirit of joy, rebellion, and reckless abandon that birthed the sport so many years ago.
